OUR RICH HISTORY
AACC was founded in 2022 by Sharon Johnson. The first meeting was held in October 2021, where various members of the community were hand-selected to see this vision into fruition. She saw a need for more positive representations in our community. A vision to produce a multi-sector platform for the community to come together and celebrate the Black American heritage, talents and accomplishments, as well as, honor our ancestors.
HISTORY. CULTURE. SCHOLARSHIP.
To inspire a world that builds a tradition of educating and celebrating Black’s/African-Americans through culturally enriched events in our community that will positively build a country worthy of boundless promise.
